HI everyone! My name is Keana Self and I'm an intern from Springs Valley where I'll be a senior this year, '09 baby! I have a lot of thanks to Mrs. Abby Leuken for the talent she shared with me during my photography class Media Arts! She was an excellent teacher and great coach! I intern here at Rembrandt Studio and boy are we ever busy..so many weddings and engagements this summer, our weekends our definitely booked!

This past month we've got back into the swing of things and are finally able to photograph at the West Baden Dome, and let me be the first to say, WOW!, it is just something else! Very stunning for the weddings! We just finished an engagement project from a few weeks ago and the couple was great, so easy to work with! It made all the difference in the hot weather too, I'm so lucky to have the chance to do what I like and actually get to be outside doing it!

Working with Allison and Tommy is a blast. We're all 3 totally different people and when you get us together to work it's such a show! We express ourselves in so many ways, hoping to get that back in the pictures we take! I'm excited to say we're a busy bunch and love every second of it!

Hey, Tommy here again, and what a summer this one is turning out to be. I don't think we're going to have a free weekend this summer. Between all the engagement shoots, weddings, and senior shoots, there is something always going on around here. I have been lucky enough though to see the West Baden Dome open their doors for us. I've lived 10 minutes from this place my whole life, but going over there looking for pictures, oh my, it is absolutely beautiful there. There's the Atrium, with all the furniture and the ceiling and everything else around, you just can't get a bad picture in there. Then there is the gardens outside. that place reminds me of something you would see on TV. its like a garden you would see in a dream. I went on my first shoot over there a couple weekends ago, there were some very nice photos taken out there. I even got to try to shoot some myself, though most of them didn't turn out the way I had expected. I did get a couple of nice pictures. I would really recommend going over there for engagement or senior pictures. Well I have to get off here, got some calls to make and pictures to work on. See ya Soon.

This past week, Fawn, our senior from Paoli, showed off our current church directory project of Victory Baptist Church to church rep. Marsha Watson. Fawn's fav drink comes from Sonic (she always comes to the studio with one)



Our church directory project is wrapping up. For those interested in viewing the online directory, we plan on releasing it publicly within the month.

Hey guys, this is Tommy Lynch. I will be the Springs Valley Intern for Rembrandt this year. I'm really excited about working around here. I have really taking an interest in photography and computer art this past school year. I took an intro to media arts class. I learned how to use manual cameras and what all those little buttons do on a camera. I first heard about this job from a friend at school. She knew that photography was an interest of mine and told me i needed to get this internship. I'm currently in my second day here, and i would stay around here all day if Angela would let me. This is the perfect learning experience for someone like me. I am getting to learn more details on camera and lighting and all those small things that make your portraits look so nice. My favorite thing to do around here though is work with the computer editing part. It's only been a day and I have learned alot of tips and tricks on photoshop. I will make sure your photos look the best of my ability. Hope to see everyone getting your pictures taken with us.

Hello everyone! Rembrandt Studio is embarking on our second senior season. We recently added 3 new interns to our staff - Candice Begley and Fawn Evans both from Paoli and Tommy Lynch of Sprngs Valley. We will be tracking their progress over the senior season.

Our studio is unique in that we are a teaching studio. Interns receive hands on instruction on how to operate the camera, post production (graphics) manipulation and sales and marketing skills.

Consultations will be a little different this year, in that we are offering dinner dates with an intern. Enjoy a night out on us while listening to a down to earth senior presentation from a friend. Contact an intern at your school to setup an date!
